Cedar Mountain WMA is a leased land WMA, meaning hunters, trappers and campers 16 years of age or older must purchase a Cedar Mountain WMA leased lands permit (LCM) along with a free annual General Use Permit (WMP). WMA Bag Limit: Three deer, no more than two antlered bucks, which may include:
- Two antlered bucks with archery, alternative firearms or modern gun,
- Three does with archery,
- One doe with alternative firearms or modern gun.
- During youth hunt, youths may take three deer, two antlered bucks (no antler restrictions) and one doe.

Area Notes
- A free annual General Use Permit (WMP) is required to hunt or trap on WMAs. Permits are available online by clicking “Buy Licenses” at agfc.com or by calling 833-345-0325 or any regional office.
- Hunters, trappers and campers 16 years of age or older must purchase a Cedar Mountain WMA leased lands permit (LCM).
- ATV and motorcycle use by permitted hunters allowed only on roads identified on U.S. Forest Service Motor Vehicle Use Map as being open for off highway vehicle use, available at www.fs.usda.gov/ ouachita.
- Dogs may be used for coyote, fox and bobcat hunting when the declared furbearer hunting season is open and firearms deer season is closed.
- Camping limited to 14 consecutive days or fewer (unlawful to camp for more than 30 days during one calendar year).
- Camps may not remain unoccupied for more than 48 hours.
- Creating a disturbance after 10 p.m. not allowed.
- Nonhunters camping with permit holder do not need to have a permit while camping.
