Virtual update on Dave Donaldson Wildlife Management Area Dec. 7
ON 12-06-2023
LITTLE ROCK — Staff with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will produce a live update on the Dave Donaldson Black River Wildlife Management Area restoration on the AGFC’s Youtube channel at 6 p.m. Thursday. Viewers will be able to email or text questions to staff during the broadcast, and the staff will conduct a question-and-answer session at the conclusion of the scheduled presentations.
In addition to Thursday’s virtual update the AGFC is planning at least one publicly held on-location opportunity to learn about the plans for restoration at Dave Donaldson Black River WMA in the next few months.
“During last week’s Commission meeting, we heard an update about renovations that were announced more than two years ago at a series of GTR meetings held throughout the state,” AGFC Director Austin Booth said. “As stated in Thursday’s presentation, we are still roughly two years away from actual construction. There is nothing imminent about any of the presented renovation plans, and we plan to have more updates and communication about the effort as we continue the process.”
