Join the AGFC at the 24th annual SouthArk Expo

EL DORADO — Visit the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s mobile aquarium and Education specialist at the 24th annual SouthArk Outdoor Expo 9 a.m-4 p.m. Sept. 9, at the El Dorado Conference Center.

The event, hosted by the SouthArk Foundation promises a day full of hands-on activities, live entertainment and exhibits for outdoor enthusiasts, families and children. Admission is one canned or packaged food item per person, which will be given to a local food pantry.

Contests will include the Leslie Darden Hero 5K Run/Walk, a rib cook-off sponsored by The Withrow Family and the student art contest sponsored by The Systems Group, all with cash prizes. Live music will be performing throughout the day. Exhibits include a chainsaw wood carving demonstration sponsored by Canfor, target shooting, archery, Williams Orthodontist Kids World, craft vendors, food trucks and so much more. Proceeds of this event benefit educational opportunities for SouthArk students.
