AGFC officers find stranded dirt biker in Van Buren County

AGFC Wildlife Officers successfully located a man who had been missing for 35 hours after driving his dirt bike off an embankment.
On Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. a gentleman left his cabin in Van Buren County to ride a 15-mile long trail with his dirt bike but did not return by 8 p.m.. After being notified, AGFC Wildlife Officers, the U.S. Forest Service, Van Buren County Search and Rescue and the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department began a search.
The lost individual was located by Wildlife Officers and U.S. Forest Service officers at approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. After 35 hours, the individual was in distress, but still medically stable. He was transported to local medical facilities and released.
