The Arkansas River is a 2,339 km long river with 108 fish species, making it a popular spot for recreational angling, especially for largemouth bass. The river flows through Arkansas for 500 km and is contained within the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System (MKARNS), serving various purposes like flood control and navigation. Anglers can also target catfish, white bass, crappie, bream, and other fish species in this diverse river.
