CRNC Angler Fish Camp

June 24-27, 2025

For: Ages 12-15

Unplug from the indoors and get hooked on fishing! This camp is designed for kids of all skill levels, backgrounds and learning types. We will cover topics including alternative fishing methods, complex knot tying and targeting specific game species. This camp is open to ages 12-15 years old. We encourage guardians to stay and be a part of the program, but due to supply and seating limitations, we ask that unregistered siblings and other children not attend. This camp will qualify children for their Beginner Fishing Patch and their Conservation Leadership Patch as part of our Outdoor Skills Patch Program.


CRNC Junior Fish Camp

June 10-13, 2025

For: Ages 9-12

Does your child want to learn how to fish? If they do, this camp is designed for them! This camp will help them learn a skill that will last them a lifetime. We will cover topics including building a tackle box, casting skills, knot tying, fish ID, dissections, cooking, cleaning and much more. This camp is open for ages 9-12. We encourage guardians to stay and be a part of the program, but due to supply and seating limitations, we ask that unregistered siblings and other children not attend. This camp will qualify children for their Beginner Fishing Patch and their Conservation Leadership Patch as part of our Outdoor Skills Patch Program.


REEL Girls Fish Camp

June 8, 10, 11, 2025

For: Ages 10-15

This camp will teach girls ages 10-15 years old hands-on skills, how to put those skills to use, and get them on the right path to fishing in our Arkansas Waters. Registration is required. Topics we will cover include rigging a pole, building a tackle box, fish dissection and ID, cleaning and cooking, actively fishing and much more! Parents are welcome to attend but due to space and material limitations, we ask that non-registered siblings and other children not attend. All supplies will be provided.

For: 6th-8th grade students

This camp will teach all aspects of fishing, including habitat and fishable waters, fish identification and anatomy, fish management methods and conservation, and angling skills and gear. They will participate in many hands-on activities and field experiences. All equipment will be provided.

For: 7th-9th grade students

This camp will teach all aspects of fishing, including habitat and fishable waters, fish identification and anatomy, fish management methods and conservation, and finally angling skills and gear. They will participate in many hands-on activities and field experiences. All equipment will be provided.

Heber Springs Fish Camp

For: Ages 10-15

This camp will teach all aspects of fish, fishing, fish habitat and water quality through fun and enriching activities at this day camp! Make sure that your child brings a sack lunch and dresses appropriately for adventures in and around the water.

Outdoor Skills Camp

July 8-12, 2025

For: 6th-8th grade students

This camp will teach many outdoor skills including archery, canoeing, fishing and camping! There will be a field trip to a WMA and the Joe Hogan Fish Hatchery. Campers will need a bagged or boxed lunch each day, a reusable water bottle and shoes that can be worn out in the field.

June 18-20, 2025

For: Ages 12-15

Participants will enjoy an exciting fish camp from Wednesday evening through Friday afternoon in our state-of-the-art facilities! This camp will teach all aspects of fishing tied in with classroom preparation.

Kids Fish Camp

For: Ages 8-12

This camp will teach kids how to identify fish, habitat, basic anatomy, carry capacity and fishing tips and tricks. One day will feature how to cook fish, as well as a field trip to the Centerton hatchery.


Next Level Kids Fish Camp

July 8-10, 2025

For: Ages 10-15

This camp takes a deeper dive into fish identification, different methods, ethics and regulations, etc. We plan to demonstrate 4-6 styles of fishing, will cook one day and then go fishing for the final day. Enforcement will also give a presentation on fishing safety.
